Repeat-Primed PCR analysis. Repeat-primed PCR analysis revealed three peaks corresponding to a 19, 29 and 31CGG repeat representing three FMR1 gene alleles (red arrow). The method is also suitable for detection of AGG sequences interrupting the CGG repeats. In the index patient we determined two interruptions (red arrow). The AGG repeats stabilize the CGG repeats containing sequences
