  1. a One patient had large cell carcinoma and 10 patients were diagnosed as carcinomas without further typing. Two of the 49 patients had a deletion of 3′ end signal, which should be regarded as negative for ALK rearrangement. bOne patient showed a deletion of 5′ALK and amplification of the 3′ end signal.
